CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

REPORT 2007 AND NEWS FOR THE 2008

The last year a great group of volunteers decided to visit once again this community called Santa Catarina Ixtahuacan, here we describe the activities done there and our plans for the next visit programed on the December 13^th 2008

The Place:

We adopted this community since the first time we get there, it is a place

located about 190 km from Guatemala City, the people there live in the highest areas of Solola (a Guatemala state)

The Activity:

It was a great experience to celebrate such a special day with all the kids, their parents and all the volunteers... We made games, “piñatas“, and we had the incredible visit of Santa Claus (this was the first time this kids met him)

Donations delivered:

We gave them: clothes, t-shirts, candies, snacks and about 2,000 gifts (we colleted about 5,000 toys...)

People helped:

Approximately 3,000
